There’s something really disturbing to me about the way the media, and indeed her own mother, continue to talk about Brianna Ghey - a constant focus on publicising her mental health, as if she’d committed suicide, and never focusing on the transphobia that actually led to her horrific murder.

If anyone is earnestly speculating on if the new mega Pokemon are shaped like an X or Y, I'd love to see it. So I have to be the shape investigator for now..

If you're actually wondering: Sableye has an X on its chest, Kangaskhan I can see being an exception, and the closest thing I can think of to another mega with no shape changes is Ampharos, whose ears get longer to match its neck, making a compelling argument.

In my family there is a clear pattern in who develops bipolar disorder. That is- for at least 4, if not more, generations on my mom's side of family nearly everyone who was AFAB develops bipolar disorder. Not a single person who was AMAB has developed it. Given that the gender & sex demographics for bipolar disorder are approximately half and half this makes no sense. Bipolar disorder is supposed to affect all sexes equally. Evidently, in my family, this is not the case.

I have no specific trait to base this on. No one knows why my family has this pattern. I cannot point fingers and go "It's the hormones/chromosomes/etc." because nobody knows. Nobody even knows if we share those characteristics- certainly no one was looking at my great great grandma's sex chromosomes."

If you have "cis men DNI" in your bio, please consider the fact that we have cis men in our system, and thus by following us you are either misgendering some of us or being pluralphobic. Also consider that putting "cis men DNI" in your bio is excluding non-binary, intersex, altersex, gay, m-spec, and/or a-spec cis men. And you are forcing trans people to out themselves in order to follow you.

I was under the impression that those terms were being encouraged only to describe perisex people's bodies, but they do seem ripe for misuse in the same way AMAB and AFAB were (since they basically do mean "AMAB perisex" and "AFAB perisex" at best).
