It appears that the President has dissolved the House of Representatives. It won't reconvene as long as the 218 threshold continues. If they somehow solve that problem (death, blackmail, special election, 2026 midterm elections, etc.) then perhaps it will reconvene.

New incredible detail here: ICE says a match in its facial recognition app Mobile Fortify is a "definitive" determination of a person's status, and that this overrides birth certificates. This is an app ICE is using in the field to scan people

Anti-progressive political campaigns = "I'm against my opponent" rather than offering a clear vision for their own leadership.

We'll see this in every Democratic primary in 26. Wherever there's a progressive candidate there'll be a (white) conservative dog whistler indistinguishable from MAGA.

Not if we want to win. Harris lost against Trump. Running her again won't change many voters' minds. We need someone more compelling.

We can get caught up in virtue signaling or we can plan to win. It will take an overwhelming majority of votes to overcome the R's election scheming.

It will not reopen -ever- unless they have a solution for the 218 threshold.

After the 2026 midterms is the *earliest* we'll see it resume unless someone dies, resigns, or is added through special election or appointment. Or is blackmailed to change their vote.
