Oh god, the laziness. Even I do better than that!

It seems like when one player has a good game against a chronically underperforming team or one that failed to show up on the day, that player is boosted to Messiah level at breakneck speed.

Only to come crashing down when the next Messiah does the same thing.

But look, column inches are filled.
irishwomens.bsky.social
And they didn't vote in line with where he *thinks* the party stands, proving him wrong, therefore they're the problem, not him.

Ridiculous main character energy.

Former Green party lad says "be more centrist" essentially.

The same Greens that supported a government to sign off on measures that increased homelessness, increased the cost of living, denied school places to vulnerable children, allowed foreign pension funds buy houses.

Feck the feck off
irishwomens.bsky.social
But if your guy gets in over my guy then it's a fix and a clear bias by the top brass....yada yada yada
irishwomens.bsky.social
Just the accent alone would confuse people
irishwomens.bsky.social
An enormous lack of awareness. You've nailed it.
irishwomens.bsky.social
People who are served well by the status quo, want to appear concerned for those less well served by it, but in reality they want to change very little.
irishwomens.bsky.social
Seemed to be an establised account, but a very confused centrist.

Supports trans rights. But not sure about trans people having the right to be recognised, particularly in sport.

Supports the left, but not THAT left.
irishwomens.bsky.social
A not so subtle bid for attention perhaps?

Going back well into the archives there to justify mention of him.

Judi blocked me because I asked why she thinks it's appropriate to use a mental health slurs against people she disagrees with politically.

Judi is not a woman of integrity.
irishwomens.bsky.social
I have.

Which is why you should be concerned about the use of mental health slurs against those you disagree with. The people you say you support are subject to such slurs and many others. It's really odd that you'd engage in that behaviour also.
irishwomens.bsky.social
I've toughed a nerve it seems.

Yes, I'm speaking for every rugby supporter to have ever existed.

Now do tell me why you think the use of mental health slurs is appropriate.
irishwomens.bsky.social
Yeah, it does.

You're using a mental health slurs to communicate your political position.

Something that's used against gay and trans people regularly. We're all just mentally ill and loony.
irishwomens.bsky.social
Don't expect to be taken seriously if you use mental health slurs to position yourself politically.

Strong nope.
irishwomens.bsky.social
But please, tell me what suggests that the far left have mental health issues that leads you to think they're "loony".
irishwomens.bsky.social
First of all "loony" is a deeply problematic term. Often used against women and to silence women. More recently used as a far right trope to silence anyone calling for compassion for the most vulnerable.

Usually used against trans supporters and asylum seekers.

Shouldn't an independent TD meet with and listen to as many people as possible? There's a difference between alignment with people and listening to people.

Martin appeases the worst of the worst. He avoids pissing them off, panders to them and even boosts their narrative.

AFAIK Connolly hasn't
irishwomens.bsky.social
If you really did vote left, you'd have the cop on the see which candidate has genuine concern for the vulnerable in society and you wouldn't use right wing tropes like "loony left".
irishwomens.bsky.social
Catherine Connolly opposed all of that.

But sure, she's friends with people who's politics you don't like, so let's vote for the anti-woman, pro church abuse coverup, pro animal cruelty and anti-housing minister who was hostile and harmful to people with disabilities under her ministerial guidance.
irishwomens.bsky.social
to people with disabilities, potentially forcing them into unsuitable or unsafe employment to obtain their disability supports.

Neither is voting to allow vulture funds swallow up all our housing and further entrenching a housing crisis while homeless people die on the streets.
irishwomens.bsky.social
And neither is sending a letter to a fellow minister that results in charges being dropped against someone with other animals cruelty convictions.

Neither is voting to withhold personal data stored on the victims of mother and baby homes for 30 years.

Neither is a record of supporting harms

Once played with this woman in college.

Watched as she kept telling people to go back. No further. Frantically waving for the team to retreat as I watched on from the goals confused.

Then she did it, and all confusion disappeared.

Not just a monster throw though, a great all rounder too.
