Yeah, it was still super important to find out, even though it wasn't the results I was hoping for.

some folks are confused or being really gatekeepy about this so as a longtime member of both communities lemme explain...

furry: i wanna be an animal (its not that serious)

therian: i wanna be an animal (it is that serious)

there is a lot of gray area & overlap here and that is ok & good actually
ngl it's a little disappointing. Would've been nice to have had more things like intrusive thoughts and anxiety drastically reduced.
But on the other hand, adding up all the upsides and downsides, it wasn't improving stuff like anxiety as much as I initially thought so I've also decided going back isn't really worth it.
Compared to the experience of other detoxers I've read, this wasn't some dark phase of my life.
I think I naturally struggle a little more than others with paying attention, so treating my ADHD again is the next thing I'm interested in.
This is not to say quitting isn't a very good idea for many people, but I feel like the idea that I'm also some huge addict cuz I haven't felt like stopping had been projected onto me by some people. Cannabis is kinda mysterious. But I'm glad that now I can prove it. Staying off wasn't that hard.
But I'll see what it's like after maybe 6 weeks? If I go back, I don't want to smoke more than like 2 times a week.
The way all the doctors around me have built up its importance is kind of overrated. And I'm wondering if a lot of what's going on is because I haven't been treated for my ADHD in a very long time.
Gotta say, as I move past week 4 of no cannabis to see what it's like, I'm not really that different. Or rather, the differences are subtle. Although I don't want to go back to daily usage because the act of it is too much of a chore,
I wonder what my dreams will be this time. The one I woke up to the previous night was me critiquing with my dad about films with *checks notes* Robin Williams? These extremely mundane ones are new to me.

One of the biggest things your work has shown me is how much art is about just existing in a headspace, just as much as technical proficiency. If not moreso.
realizing at least a third of what I got isn't on here
Last I counted I had like 500 vinyl records, and now I have way more since then. I dont like CDs as much but I might have to switch to them simply because of space.
I think the biggest impediment is that most people don't understand the differences between Stalinism, Communism, and Socialism.
(the vast majority of my listens are still just pirated but I try to keep a steady cash flow going based on what I've heard)
It's usually pretty cheap, at least
I get why it's not as appealing, I'm just sayin.
buying digital on Bandcamp technically gives the most money directly to the artist, even more than physical media I'd say, since there's no overhead cost. so I'll also be using the Bandcamp app more as well
