Yeah, i mean i cant speak to any fear he has, and as i said i think he's trash. But not wanting to make an enemy of people who have dumped millions into longshot campaigns to unseat their ideological rivals is a pretty reasonable motivation.

This exchange lends a ton of support to this New York Times story from January that the White House previously denied. Trump reportedly joked in 2024 that Stephen Miller wants to purge the country of anyone who doesn't look like him — and Trump fully supports what he is doing.

Roughly 20% of Australia flooded from extreme rainfall on one day (an area double Texas was covered in rainwater), drowning hundreds of thousands of farm animals.

That was in a 2025 climate - the climate of 2030, just 5 years from now will be *much* more extreme due to fossil fuels.

Such extreme floods would create additional pressure on farming and might even make farming impossible in many parts of the UK.

It's not a loan, there isn't anything to payback. The problem Argentina has is with the value of their currency, this deal is a currency swap, the US is buying Argentine pesos with USD. which helps them. If the value of the peso stabilizes or goes up, it's actually good for the US.

This is Chop. He was shot and killed by masked assailants in plain clothes who go by
ICE. They showed up at his door "looking for migrants after receiving a tip." The son of
the family asked if they could wait before entering the home while he put Chop away
in the bathroom, as the dog can be aggressive with strangers. According to the family,
it is at this point that the son went to his pickup truck to retrieve his ID and a Border
Patrol agent entered the home, opened the bathroom door, and shot Chop. None of
the agents helped the family, who desperately tried to render aid to Chop, as he bled
to death on the kitchen floor. Unsurprisingly, the agent who shot their dog then hid
from them and refused to give his name. Even more unsurprising, they did not find
any evidence of the migrants they were there to terrorize in the first place.
Do not open your door for these fucking losers. Rest easy Chop 14/10
