When people rightfully call out Azeez Al-Shaiir's dirty play, there's always that other person that's like, "you're just soft and don't know real football". Yeah, sorry for actually caring about player safety.
One Batman headcanon that I like (that I think is still considered headcanon) is that Jim Gordon knows Batman's identity, he just choses not to out him because he respects him too much.
I like all the Insomniac Spider-Man games, to various degrees, but the Slott-isms in those games (mainly the first game) are so apparent. All the aggrandizing for Doc Ock is so Slott.
I need the Steelers to trade for Allen Lazard just for the memes.
Colin Cowherd needs to stretch his Caleb hate narrative so much that now he’s talking about Ben Johnson’s face on the sideline and how it looks “dissatisfied with the passing game”. He knows his points are drying up, so he’s just saying shit.
I feel a lot of people forget that Kerry Collins was the QB for the Giants in that Super Bowl.
Even look at the Ravens-Giants Super Bowl for the 2000 season: it was Trent Dilfer and Kerry Collins.
It's Metacritic score hovered around 70, which isn't bad.
I don't know of a PS exclusive that's gotten more revisionism over the years than Days Gone. If you like the game, that's fine, but you can't ignore the clear performance issues the game had and the wooden protagonist. It also didn't get horrible reviews. It got mid reviews, which the game is.
I know it's very much a long shot, but I know it's been a rumor for a while, but what if BluePoint announces a Drake's Fortune remake at TGAs? I'm kind of past Infamous, at this point.
From a receiving standpoint, yes, Colston Loveland has been a disappointment compared to Tyler Warren. However, if you look at how valuable Loveland has been in the run game, I think it evens out. Which is funny because, in the draft process, he blocking in the run game was a question mark.
I still feel the whole Red St. Wild/Eagly plot line could have been taken out and the show would've not changed that much. That felt like the most forced subplot of the season, especially since it was only really a thing for like two episodes.
I feel a problem with Peacemaker S2 is that it clearly feels like a show that was made to be binged, but came out on a weekly schedule. I feel the pacing issues could be iron out on a rewatch with all the episodes together.
If the Super Bowl ends up being Baker Mayfield vs Daniel Jones, that would be the most random Super Bowl QB pairing probably since Brad Johnson and Rich Gannon in 2002.
I do think the clear cutting room floor material in SM2 also hurt the pacing. You could tell a lot of the middle of the game was cut out. That's why the symbiote suit arc and Kraven felt very rushed.
The gameplay, minus taking away a majority of the gadgets, was head and shoulders above SM PS4. I think it suffers from the same problems narratively that SM PS4 did, mainly a bloated third act.
At this point, I wouldn't be surprised Carroll is a one and done with the Raiders. He signed a three year contract. He's not the long term answer. This is a 4-5 win team, at best.
Man, sucks to see Jayden Daniels get injured again. This was his worry coming into the league. Is he too lanky? Would that make him more susceptible to injury?
Letting a team come back from a 20+ point deficit in one quarter is wild.
The Browns haven't scored more than more than 18 points all season and got 31 against against Miami. 😭
Weird. Because I have finished all the wolf dens, but it still won't let me get the final upgrade. Maybe I just need to quit my game and reload?
@thestrawhatgamer.bsky.social Have you heard of this bug? Where one of the wolf dens glitches and doesn't give you the skill point?
