I am also struggling to buy that a self-proclaimed Communist at no point in the decade after getting said drunk tattoo saw or learned the context of that symbol. Sure, I can get most people not knowing what it represents, but you're also claiming to be Antifa and not knowing SS symbols? Kinda sus.

Well unfortunately, I wouldn't be surprised if several people did in fact recognize it then or during his PMC time, but I don't know if those who recognized it would have necessarily had a problem with it...

Like even if this is just "I got a cool skull and crossbones in Croatia, I didn't know it was Nazi" as claimed, it's been a decade my guy. Someone has to have asked about it or you've seen that symbol elsewhere. Why hasn't he gotten rid of it or altered it? Bad judgement at a minimum.

I honestly don't really get it. We all know Donnie is in them. It's not a secret for anyone who remotely cares or understandings. Unless there's something so unbelievably horrible (doubt, it would have leaked by now) they have to suppress it, it just seems pointless to me for them to fight this.

I choose to view it as humiliation for Putin. They have to smile and act like they didn't spend billions of dollars, tons of equipment, and a decade propping up Assad and trying to very explicitly kill Al-Sharaa because they have to beg not to lose their bases in Syria.

I have 3 distinct memories of the National Guard in my life:
- Guarding transit hubs in NYC in the years since 9/11
- Helping clean up after Hurricane Sandy
- Me telling a group of them to leave us alone and go home at Gallery Metro stop

We've seen what happens when you invest heavily into drones against a peer conventional force! You lose! Yes, it's cheaper, but it's also way less effective. Drones compliment conventional forces, they cannot replace them.
