**In America, we don’t put up with would-be kings.** Witness for Democracy October 18, 11:00-12:30 visibility event, north side of 289, east of intersection with Spring Village Dr. This is a "walk-to" event, NO PARKING area. We are a group of seniors appalled at the actions of the current administration, especially its disregard for the rule of law and actions suppressing free speech. We believe action by the people is necessary to prevent dictatorship, destruction of our democratic government and mass suffering. We cry wake up to America. We ask our neighbors to join us at this "walk to" neighborhood event next to the Franconia-Springfield Parkway (289) on October 18 from 11:00-12:30. _A core principle behind all No Kings events is a commitment to nonviolent action. We expect all participants to seek to de-escalate any potential confrontation with those who disagree with our values and to act lawfully at these events. Weapons of any kind, including those legally permitted, should not be brought to events._
