Guess what? Indivisible East Bay can now be cited as the “award-winning Indivisible East Bay." That’s right. Last Saturday, at the John George Democratic Club’s Tenth Biennial Social Justice Awards Reception, Indivisible Easy Bay was awarded the Mobilizing for Social Justice Award. The JGDC chose IEB for this award after seeing the massive turnout and joyful defiance of the HANDS OFF and NO KINGS mobilizations.

You don’t believe in gerrymandering because it’s tantamount to cheating. Besides, didn’t our state decide 15 years ago that we’d put an end to these games by appointing an independent commission to figure out California’s congressional map? Or maybe you think this is just a scam by Governor Newsom to raise his national profile in preparation for a 2028 presidential run.
