While this may be obvious to some players, Cataquacks resemble Wiggler segments that have come to life. This is likely intentional due to them originating in Gelato Beach in Super Mario Sunshine, where the antagonist is a Wiggler.

I think a lot of it that the Pokemon team was so used to working only for handhelds that they just weren't ready for the HD Switch era. They're also on ridiculously tight deadlines since the entire Pokémon franchise is so interconnected. But still. They make so much money. Just... take your time

I'm less bothered by the graphics. I do think Scarlet and Violet should have never released in the state they were in but the graphics bother me way less.

Although, New Pokemon Snap is one of the best looking games on Switch and shows how good a Pokemon game could look given the time and resources.

My go to scene is this one from Sword and Shield of a rock show that has nothing. No vocals. Not even text boxes. Just a model of a guy singing and a crowd going nuts with nothing coming out. Embarrassing.

What really broke me was Fire Emblem: Three Houses. A game that, admittedly, doesn't have the nicest graphics but almost every line of dialog in that game is voice acted. And there is so much dialog. So much. And Fire Emblem sells like a 50th of what Pokemon does.

What is Pokemon's excuse?

I've always believed that gameplay trumps everything else when it comes to video games and I do still believe that but the Switch generation has made me really jaded and frustrated on Pokemon. Why are the graphics like that? Why did S/V release like that? Why is there no voice acting AT ALL?!

I honestly thought the same thing when I read it. Capcom is one of the few companies that is constantly rereleasing their older titles. You can play like every Mega Man game ever made on modern hardware. Seems weird that the first three RE games is where they draw the line.

288. Disney's Beauty and the Beast: Magical Ballroom

It's almost unfair to even include this here. This is a game for young children. But it is a collection of like 4 mini games that feel like flash games. None of them are particularly challenging or all that engaging. It's lame.

I really don't think this movie would have done much better without Leto. I hate Leto and I love Tron but I don't see a Tron released in 2025 doing particularly well regardless of casting.

I've never actually interacted with this person and there is a part of me that feels bad for disliking them so much. I'm not really part of this community. They are. They at least talk in there. I just look at pictures and get mad at what strangers are saying to each other.
