I don’t feel any sympathy for that vile man. He and John Roberts share responsibility for the destruction of democracy and the rule of law in the US.
Hi, Clare! ☺️
I made the mistake of looking at the pictures 😳
What a time to be alive
the year is 2030. a doctor solemnly informs you that you have plastic in your testicles bc millions of people persuaded by celebrity marketing bought synthetic pubic hairs that were eventually consumed by fish that you ate
The Daily Beast writes: "Kim Kardashian's brand SKIMS has sold out its synthetic pubic hair thongs and is now accumulating a waitlist for the product." Their tweet is accompanied by a link to a post with the story.

This is Exactly why there’s a no kings protest. bsky.app/profile/cosm...
R U excited? It's gonna be great. Remind Cosmo. What happened back in 1776? Something about telling a King he was no longer part of the pack?
Yes. It needs to be MASSIVE. But it also needs to be repeated — a huge protest once in a while is an event. Huge protests day after day are a force that can move mountains.
This is getting more and more disturbing.
BREAKING EXCLUSIVE: Trump may launch missiles from warships into California this Friday and Saturday as part of what is being described as a “vanity parade” and shut down portions of the I-5 during the No Kings protests meidasnews.com/news/exclusi...
It’s chilling to think about.
It means putting fear in the hearts of not just the goons and thugs in masks but also the ringleaders and the enablers. I means threatening the comfortable lives of the wealthy who are funding this assault on your freedom.

There are FAR more of you than there are of them.
The military isn’t on the side of the people. I’ve said from the beginning that expecting the military to save American democracy is foolish.

The answer is blindingly obvious but requires boldness, courage, and sustained effort. It means millions of people in the streets. Every day.
By the midterms it will be too late.

Thanks! I haven’t been on SM much for a week or so.
I agree 1000% with everything you just said. The last, desperate gasp of the “oppressed” mediocre white Christian males appears likely to tear America apart.
I can hardly believe it’s happening, even though months back I actually suggested it might.
This won’t end well. Could the US end up as two (or more) separate countries?
Trump has declared a sort of war on half of us.

NYT:
As I have been saying over and over and over, you will not take back your government through the midterms.
Republicans are going to cheat & gerrymander with the rubber stamp of the Supreme Court.

It will be very hard for Democrats to take back the House and Senate.

Meanwhile, Trump will send the military to crush protests, and when he gets desperate, he'll implement martial law.

Eyes wide open, folks.

This Supreme Court case in Louisiana is about one thing, and one thing only: reinstituting Jim Crow by way of ensuring that Black Americans are taxed without receiving representation in Congress.

Everything else is noise and bluster.

This stolen Supreme Court is going to send us back to the 1860s.

This Supreme Court will do anything it can to ensure the end of our representative democracy.

This is a naked effort to save a racist, nihilistic, principle-free far-right minoritarian movement from disappearing from American politics by instead giving it hegemony over the United States... forever.
If the Supreme Court strikes down Section 2 of the 1965 Voting Rights Act, which has been interpreted to require the creation of majority-minority districts, Republicans could eliminate upward of a dozen Democratic-held districts across the South. Here's how.
The Supreme Court Case That Could Hand the House to Republicans
Democrats would be in danger of losing around a dozen majority-minority districts across the South if the court struck down part of the Voting Rights Act.

I think Miles Taylor has the best take on why Republicans are terrified over the upcoming "No Kings" rallies (paraphrased)
Because they know these could be among the biggest protests in American history and will, basically, hold up a mirror forcing them to look at what they've done to our country
Hiiiiiiii, Coach! 🤗 I did indeed have my cream puff and cappuccino to start the day today! 😉
Hi, Joe! ☺️ Same!!
