I think you have given its proper due! Its just hard to put it all into words since Berserk is a journey that... well has to be experienced. And it was one that spanned many years!

I do like how you explained the stuff that happens in Berserk and its themes succinctly. I think what repels some people is that they presume the extreme stuff is something that is glorified, but that was never the case! Miura was clearly illustrating how horrible and evil those things actually are.

It is also about absolutely incredibly gruesome hyperviolence.

There is beauty in the horror. It is one of the most beautifully illustrated comics out there.

It is also extremely rough. It is also full of sexual violence. It is *horrifying* in so many ways.

It is a hard comic to recommend.

i think there's a fundamental difference between an e-sport game and a competitive one: e-sports demand clarity of interaction for the benefit of spectators; "every match a trailer" game design, competitive games thrive on jank and obscure interactions

There is some unbelievably stupid so called "canon" to! Such as Tidus post FF-X2 kicking a mine and dying because he thought it was a Blitzball. Basically undoing all his progression as a character for a "LULZ he stoopid!" joke and a humiliating death. Great work Square-Enix.
