This was all very predictable many many years ago

It's shocking that more people could not see that their concessions would ultimately lead to this point.

Things are likely going to get much, much worse before they get better.
Damn!

Tarantino out here catching strays!?!?
When does the population realize it’s already in dictatorship.

Does anyone think if Trump wanted to just kill a senator, that he couldn’t do it and then spin some flimsy story with the assistance of Bondi justify it? Whether people believed it or not?

Mass peaceful protest is the only way.
Are hackers really offering personal information on ICE, DHS and other US government agencies for USD1M!?

This seems like the kind of this an agency dedicated to cybercrime would investigate with urgency…

Clock is ticking on when Google or some other company is going to ‘save’ Wikipedia.
There’s an entire genre of movies about this…. Rom Coms
As @michaelfanone.bsky.social said in
today, all the ICE agents need to be fired and prosecuted where applicable. That’s the only way there will be any trust rebuilt

True accountability needed to move forward

Well damn. I thought they just figured MAGATs were idiots and didn’t care about facts. But it seems there’s a method to even this madness.
Have you ever wondered why Trump & MAGA always lie so wildly about numbers without a care in the world? Watch Angela Lansbury explain the reason in this brilliant scene from The Manchurian Candidate. This was the basis for McCarthyism in a nutshell:
Exactly! That’s cool too.

I’d personally prefer a flat out, no, but life is way too short to not have at least asked to see if there was any interest.
I see this view a lot on YouTube and other sites.

The problem is I have quite literally never had an interaction where it felt like asking for a number after a brief (or long convo) ends up feeling like a violation, on either side. Rejected maybe, but such is life. Smile and say have a great day.

Fox uploaded the entirety of the Zohran interview on their YouTube channel (they don’t always do that!) where it’s gotten hundreds of thousands of views, and these are some of the comments. “I voted Trump 3 times, but if Zohran is a communist than maybe I'm a communist [too]!”
If they’re not careful, Fox News viewers may realize they’ve been lied to for years and convinced to vote against their own interests!

I think “hitting on people” is doing a lot of work in this analysis. Like just talking to people and engaging them as humans isnt “hitting on them.”

Scenario — you go to your friends’ birthday and have an engaging convo with someone of the opposite sex about [shared interest]. Get their #!
One shouldn’t need to take a course in dating apps, to be able to find a date…. on an app!
Perhaps that could be more related to your mindset at home vs elsewhere, which impacts the initial interactions?
A friend & I were talking this not too long ago.

Telephone convos while inferior to in person, were leaps better than texting.

Texting gives people the opportunity to think and carefully tailor every response. There’s no challenge, none of the mental stimulation that’s needed for meaningful convo
I’d like to think (or maybe hope?) that the kind of idiot that would think that would be in the minority.

A friend telling me someone is interested in meeting me at a club would definitely be a plus for the night! No matter how it turned out.
Good points I didn’t consider.

As a fairly social person, it wouldn’t have crossed my mind that the sheer number of people interacting in real life is diminishing.
Disagree on the bar part. I think it's more about the approach and intention vs. the venue. But I get what youre saying re the risk of approaching someone without any prior connection.
But why?

Do people not have the necessary social skills anymore to meet people and connect?
People need to watch this. To hear the perspective of what's happening from someone who spent two decades in law enforcement and was personally attacked and injured defending the US capitol is some stunning.

America, you in danger girl!!
