Yeh total aphantasia here. I'm usually brilliant as cities. I moved to Sweden and automatically knew every street and alleyway of Stockholm, and it's on different levels so not all roads go to where you expect! Aberdeen? Nothing.

I'm just glad I nailed the Gallowgate route to town!

Just saw an advert for the new Bigot Wizard audio books, full cast thing.

It sounds absolutely shit.

Too many voices, jarring with the narrator, weird pacing. Awful.

My ADHD brain is a nightmare today.

I am up early tomorrow to go get my jab.

I have already cooked a chicken to make a roast tonight. I want to get cracking on making my sisters Christmas present, finishing the pressing, measuring, cutting. But I have to do all the prep and cooking still 😭

I am so good at city geography normally. I don't know why Aberdeen defeats me! I've never managed to find Marischal College or that big square everything happens in. Yet I know every alley way of Stockholm or Manchester.

Perfect thank you! I've total aphantasia so can't picture anything. I'm thinking I come out with rainbow steps to the left and boots on my right. The map shows boots I just couldn't be sure it's the right one. I hate not looking confident about where I am.

Can an Aberdeen resident tell me if my geography is right.

If I'm getting my jab in Bon Accord and I enter it from George St, can I exit the other side of Bon Accord, turn right, and end up at central library?

I got library books to return and I'd have to walk back on myself to go to Old Abz.

My dad was what ever Trafford council called their sanitation workers. Did litter picking, drove a noo noo. Was paid surprisingly well, made a good life for us. He died 6 years ago, his funeral was mostly people in hi vis as they'd all bunked off work. Was so lovely to see. Up the street artists!

Like I get the loving old stories thing. My neurodivergence loves to re read or re play the known stuff. It's just a shame they don't have anything else to draw on for that nostalgia.

I've created nostalgia in under a year for some of Pratchett's work, there's so much else to enjoy!
