(2/2) you also use corridor mazes to hide chests/make them harder to get to or even force players into a trap, you could do these with rooms too but you might send the player to get a key to unlock the room. I don't explain things very well but I hope this makes sense!

this is an MV generated maze room, so not the best example, but it can change enemies, loot and the playstyle of your level. rooms allow for more movement making it easier to dodge enemies in an ABS while the tight corridor's of a coridor maze could make it harder or even impossible to dodge. With all of my experience in retail, most people are just cheap. I worked for bath and body works for 2 years and my worst experiences were with people with coupons who “could pay for it, (they) just don’t want to” seems like the case here. Don’t let that take away from the incredible things you do

I finally made it to the first mission. #visualnovel cut scenes are definitely gonna be the way to go. They’re definitely more interactive than watching sprites move around.
