Sad that some would have preferred my ancestors lost their battles against fascism in WWI and WWII. They fought for freedom and equality, something eroded daily by so called "leaders" in Canada.

It's an igneous rock to be able to survive the waves but could be a glacial erratic that was deposited ages ago and the surrounding stone was more porous and simply eroded, leaving the monolith standing alone. There is no immediate glacier in that region but perhaps during the last ice age?

I assume it's a basalt stack common to the region... but it doesn't have the characteristics pattern that you would see in Vik. Or maybe a boulder of gabbro - the type of rock that makes up Vestrahorne, just south of the nature preserve?

Up early, getting the dough ready for baking bread! One batch is olive and cilantro, the other jalapeño and cheddar. Both are for the soup before the turkey, stuffing, potatoes, and pies, leading to the inevitable, well-earned sleep after a perfectly satisfying meal.

DarkTable. It takes a while to mimic your LR workflows but it is worth the time. I still use Lightroom Classic on an old laptop if needed but my main digital asset manager is DT. It's open source too: www.darktable.org
