I've never been a particular fan of Gov Hochul, but gotdamn, this was strong & direct. You could see & feel her disgust. Love that she didn't tap dance around it. And the swipe at Stefanik was glorious.

I'm glad there is part of the esplanade that is open & available to NY'ers, but in my East Harlem neighborhood we've been w/o access to a huge chunk between 96th & 120th for over 10 years. And while there are plans, there seems to be no timetable for those plans to move forward.

I gave up on all OTC supplements 20 years ago when the FIRST studies started coming out about how much they were contaminated with various garbage so this shouldn't surprise me, but it does. Christ, what a fucking racket.

I have a theory that because us GenX'ers had to write down numbers...on a pad next to the phone or in an address book...then actually dial those numbers, it was far easier to commit to memory. I need to do this again so I can at least remember a few pertinent numbers besides my childhood one.

the funniest thing about this is that those of us who grew up in the divide all have a bunch of pre-cell phone numbers memorized and almost none afterwards

I know the home phone numbers of two of my childhood best friends from thirty years ago and none of the cell numbers of my college friends
