David Gustafsson admitted that going through waivers for the first time in his career was a really different experience.

Said he didn’t expect to be that nervous.

Now that’s it’s done he can focus on getting back to NHL.

David Gustafsson was quick to remind me that he had previously played on an All-Swedish line.

He did it with the Jets when he played alongside AJF and Kevin Stenlund.

This weekend with Moose he was with Samuel Fagemo & Fabian Wagner. 🇸🇪

Asked Ville Heinola about going through the waiver process for the first time in his career.

He said he hoped he would have been picked up by another team (which is an honest answer as it would mean he remains in the NHL).

In what I suspect is good news regarding Cole Koepke who left the Jets game yesterday after blocking a shot, none of the recall options missing from Moose practice.

Jets are going streaking as they pick up their second straight win and first on the road defeating the Islanders 5-2.

The depth was evident throughout the game as they got contributions from their bottom six forwards.
