“Sauve qui peut”. This is a French phrase that translates literally to something like "save yourself who's able/can" and roughly equates to “run for your life!” or “every man for himself!”, indicating a chaotic or dangerous situation/stampede. Postcard from my collection, no date/info.

he was definitely one of those people that deserved the absolute worst. i see some very lovely people with cruel fates in my work as a nurse that make me question the meaning of things sometimes, but then something like this happens to someone absolutely horrendous and it balances out a tiny bit.

one of the most horrifying and disgusting cases i’ve ever come by and i’ve seen a whole lot of true crime stuff. i’m not the type to wish ill towards someone lightly but this was the best news in a good while, hope he suffered well and good.
