Yes, I noticed Betty had gone from free in London to very much not.
It knows the way!
I encountered this nonsense in Bath. It was free for two hours but after that you need to download an app, so they can check your car details and charge you different amounts depending on emissions. How does that work with my Aussie barge then?
I'm reading comments on my latest EV video while watching drag racing with enormous V8s. It is possible to like both!
Oh there is for sure. Just need a bit more range than 60 miles.
I reckon she was doing about 30mpg. Can't complain about that.
Yesterday, Somerset. Now back home after 1070kms or 600 and something miles. A fine way to travel!
Lovely certificate from Little Princess Trust. This is the amount we raised with the prize draw Rodius. Thanks to all who took part.
The media were often terrible at the time, utterly berating anything that didn't try hanging the tail out if you lifted off mid-bend. Such antics are fun on a track but downright lethal on the road.
I also remember getting rushed to hospital in my mum's friend's white Princess with brown velour interior. Brains are strange.
I think that probably predates what I thought was my earliest memory, having my head stitched back together after I fell head first onto a door edge. I think I was four then.
Was talking to my parents over the weekend about how I have a clear memory of seeing my mum at work one day. My mum stopped her office job in 1981 to have my sister. I was born in 1978. That feels almost impossible. But we discussed it and my memory of the layout is spot on.
And it's currently number 2 of the previous 10 videos. Blimey!
Thanks for the opportunity!
Maybe that's it - no internet unless you can pass A Level English. 😉
Can you buy it back? How annoying.
Thankfully attitudes have changed. Mostly. There are still some English who complain and accuse the Welsh of only speaking Welsh when they're around. How do you know what they were speaking before you were there?!
Shamefully, I still speak only a few words of Welsh. Must do better. @misshubnut.bsky.social is fluent for a start!
15 years since I moved to Wales. Not everything has been smooth and lovely but I did meet @misshubnut.bsky.social so that's a plus. Also met some truly lovely people during my time in Wales and frequently get overwhelmed by stunning views. So that's nice too.
Cornwall. Not as sunny as I'd hoped.
A significant survivor but do you know why? I'll give you a clue - it's at the Interval Fire Museum. Hasn't deteriorated much over the past decade but sadly was already very rotten when it arrived here.
