They actually never married, Spencer Tracy couldn't obtain a divorce, but he was separated. Spencer Tracy and Katharine Hepburn were an enduring life long couple. Guess Who's Coming To Dinner was Spencer Tracy's last film, he died shortly after its completion. There's a lot of love in that film. 🎬💙

Measles and pertussis are already on the rise.
Sadly we won’t see these numbers ever again, except for maybe SP, unless it escapes some lab freezer or closet (remember that one?).

On this day in 1940 the BBC’s London headquarters, Broadcasting House, was hit by a huge bomb dropped by the Luftwaffe. Seven died and there was huge destruction.

Using oral history accounts and documents from the BBC’s own archives, I’ve tried to piece together how events unfolded that night

Barbara Sukowa gives a great performance as Hannah Arendt. I loved her work in Rosa Luxemburg (1986). A wonderful actress. 💙

I just saw Raoul Peck’s Orwell film, and it’s masterful. It’s good for clarifying where we really are in terms of fascism and totalitarianism. Orwell: 2+2=5.
