PM Carney, on FB, posted a Thanksgiving tribute to our great Armed Forces working overseas.
The top reply - "Mark Carney please support our serving troops with decent pay, housing support and the tools and resources to do their jobs."
Where do these people live?

Fixed a typo.
So the RCAF knows there is a need for the ability to land their fighter jets on roadways.
Gripens can do that too. On an even shorter piece of road.
With only a minimal ground crew (a couple of vehicles) to refuel and reload it in 20 minutes or less.
This is something an F35 can't do.

From what I can gather Liam was working in a 3 meter (9 foot) deep trench at the base of that block wall.
The wall and hill collapsed on him.
The big hole and trench box etc is from trying to rescue him.

Such a tragedy.
Too many workers are injured or die while at work.
Sometimes it is the fault of the employer.
I am not saying that is the case here but I hope the investigation finds the cause.
Does Canada need more thorough investigations and criminal charges?

problems lies in the way markets and the media portray new tech - hyping it.
Developers want to be and/or get addicted to being the "darlings" of the media and the stock market.
They also like the big $ in stock value.
So they do and say anything including selling their tech before its ready.

Many of the cases cited in the linked articles are related to doctors & lawyers using OpenAI's ChatGTP.
ChatGTP etc are designed to provide a convincing answer, even if it has to make one up.
The same OpenAI that wants to operate in Canada.

It turns out CTV kind of mislead people. Strange right?

This is huge news!
UBC has developed an enzyme that can convert donor organs to type O, making them universal.
Normally a using organs of the wrong blood type causes the recipient's immune system to attack the organ, leading to failure.

It's about time! Such a no brainer. Kids can't buy their own lunches, and some of them come from families that can't afford to feed them properly. It's our duty as members of society to help take care of the little ones. Lunch and snacks is literally the least we can do.
