Hi, I'm Melora, the main source of scanned #Zelda art & out-of-print publications since The Internet. I was also the lead campaigner for Zelda manga & art/info books to exist outside of Japan. Join me as I try to create a gallery of every piece of licensed Zelda art via collecting & with your help!
Magnesium has been the biggest one for me and its apparently an essential mineral for us that's a bit deficient in modern diets? My biggest sign that I've been forgetting to take it is when I start craving chocolate like mad. mcpress.mayoclinic.org/living-well/...

www.sleepfoundation.org/magnesium
(*I have an autoimmune stress hormone disorder so I tend to be pretty sensitive to small changes. I don't make my own cortisol and waking up at 3 is often a sign of an issue with it. Those supplements can help a lot depending on the issue)
Everyone is different, but for me this happens when my supplementation is off. Like if I don't take my D3 and B vits during the day or haven't had enough magnesium.

3am is often a key time for your internal clock hormones. Same as craving coffee/food at set times during the day.
Ugh. Dread.

I feel like the people who are pushing for these features have never had to use an AI/chatbots for customer service for anything not covered the most basic of FAQs.
omg, that is so sweet and means so much T_T Thank you!! I can't wait to get more done. It still feels so empty of pieces
It would be off the charts, I'd love it
OMG, I can't wait to get more of it done then. Everything you've been doing is so incredible! I can't believe the quality and uniqueness you've been achieving with all your pieces so close in a row!
Thank you T_T
He's such a sweetie. And it truly is some comfort to know that he's almost never known what sadness is. (He was scared as a puppy since he came from a pretty neglectful situation.) But he's lived a pretty amazing dog life.

It's just so hard; I wish they could live so much longer.
Marin got super crazy about a shovel, now I'm picturing Zelda being like that over a game of dice, lol
😆 This is going to be my new headcanon for why she actually got kidnapped by Ganon
The more I've had to stare at his art the more and more I love it.
Go Nakano 中野豪

I guess there was a reason I went with it as an avatar years ago 😆
Aww, thank you! It brings me endless joy to know that people enjoy the same things I enjoy. Like that doing something little like this can bring a little joy. We can certainly use all of that we can get.
We had to move cuddles inside because 1: He loved it but seemed like he finally got bored of it, lol. 2: Being outside means the dogs hear the coyotes and join in the singing a few times a night and my own health requires solid chucks of sleep time 3: freakn' monsoon level rain for a week 😆😅
It's one of those things like "is this worth the work?" (this level of repair/trying not to fake too much) & it's like... "well, if I do it once it doesn't need to be done again." & idk I kind of enjoy doing it even if it's a bit pointless

So I hope you enjoy my self-soothing exercises too, lol 4/
So it's just taken me a while to do the majority of the scanning & then sit down & commit to methodically addressing the needs of each pub. I also didn't make clear png backgrounds bc I realized I just liked the look some of the color adds & how it makes sense for the bleed into the printing dots 3/
About 2 years ago I started rescanning all my Hyrule Fantasy publications with the intent of redoing the gallery & organizing it correctly: Getting all the random art found & cleaned-up at 2400dpi. The issue is that Z1 has more art than all the other games (except BotW/TotK bc of their artbooks) 2/
I uploaded 160+ 2400dpi #zelda art pieces from the 1986 Kadokawa guide last night: www.flickr.com/photos/histo... Many are *heavily* cleaned/edited. Example ↓ I tried to walk the line between accurate & "visually pleasing image"

The original RAWS are available at IA: archive.org/details/guid...
A cartoonish illustration of a bunch of characters, scenes, and enemies from the original Legend of Zelda laid out like Link has to travel through all of them to get to Zelda at the end. This is the cleaned up version. This is the same version but the Japanese text has not been cleaned off.
It was the only thing I didn't like in maybe the most perfect games I had ever played.

But the story characters were so far behind and useless and I really liked what I had done with my regular soldiers. Letting one go for a named character to fit was maddening.
Stuff like this is exactly why I got into scanning/archiving as a hobby. It's so absurdly expensive and literally impossible for people to access rarities; which mean they become lost in a general sense.
I was procrastinating hard instead of starting a citation page for a Zelda guide: it turns out they have a ton of replies & they're a TERF, ableist, racist or pull-a-ladder-up-behind them, fat phobic, & would rather defend Regan than understand that bootstrapping isn't an answer to college loans
lol right?!

But I also thought I just liked the name and also wouldn't have to jump through the hoops of filing for a judicial review for an independent name change. But I guess that's subservient: and not just lazy, extremely broke, and very disabled of me, lol
