If your brain’s super tired & you’re struggling to get going but you have stuff to do so don’t have the option to hibernate then hi, me too. This photo’s for your brain-if you pause on it for a few moments it’s likely to dial down your stress hormone & trigger dopamine release: a small mind hack 🐚

Read the Intro this morning over coffee. A smart book that offers an important opportunity to rethink how we've organized society & the ways forward toward community & a livable future.

Calling all researchers working on or wanting to work on coastal topics (rural coasts, urban coasts, ports, history of environmental change of coasts, etc. etc.)! I want to start a #CoastalHistory starter pack, and to interest people in joining our Coastal History Network. Let me know if interested!
Followed, thank you for compiling. I’m an ND poet and facilitator with focus on nature, place and identity and would be delighted to be added

I'd like to sell the last three remaining copies of the poetry anthology 'The Joy of Living' which I edited for @dreich.bsky.social in order to raise money for The Maggie's Centres. They're 6£/copy +p&p. Whoever buys these books is also in for a chance to win a copy of my pamphlet, 'kinscapes'.

Belatedly realising Moving Mountains is four months old today! I'd love to hear from you if you've read it and loved it. I'd also love to hear from you if you'd like to run an event to celebrate it or to invite me to your literary event to talk about it!
Much empathy. I have a noise sensitivity, which has always given me Quiet Carriage Issues, and since the pandemic I just avoid public transport whenever poss. Which sometimes it isn't.
Yup, I feel the same about Colinton. Used to be in centre about 3x/week, now more like once a month, and if it's busy / noisy / buses bad, I need to factor in some recovery time too. ND and pandemic have shifted my inner landscape, and relationship to external one. Gallery writing still boon, tho!
