This morning we all went together to say goodbye to our beloved little Soot. Feline leukemia is awful: please spay and neuter, participate in a TNR if there’s one where you are, anything to lessen the spread.

Thanks, friend. She’s only 2.5 years, but we got a year and change linger with her than her brother. Weird full circle: we fed her with an eye dropper every two hours as a tiny kitten. Now, it’s meds by eye dropper twice a day. The world is cold wet trash right now; your friendship helps.

Sad news: feline leukemia has caught up with our sweet Soot. Her breathing got weird last week; vet sent us back home with iron drops + antibiotic, but not much hope. We’ll run the clock out until her pain is too much, but it’s a lot of tearful snuggles this weekend. #blackcat #sad #lovehard
