lookin at more cost-effective calorie sources instead of just calorie “density”

turns out Boost and fast food are pretty lousy in terms of budget (~200cal/$), 2L soda bottles and shredded cheese are more efficient (~500) and butter, milk, and ramen all have around 1000cal/$, at their current prices

I think that sort of thing is a good way to handle it, where you can still go through the whole game but there’s still something to show for actually being good at it.

Idk what game you’re talking about, but i know several games in the New Super Mario Bros series have some option that either makes the level easier or just completes it for you if you keep failing. But using those also prevents you from getting sparkles on the save file’s stars when it’s completed.
