What a vile person that is, I'm shocked at the antipathy.

I couldn't either so we're both odd, in the best sort of way, of course! 🤣

I remember seeing Cliff Richard & The Shadows there. A very, very long time ago....

I worry about foreign pussycats not being looked after. When I went to Lanzarote I spent 2 weeks feeding stray cats & worried about them when I got home. Now I feed a young buzzard because I worry about creatures & people going hungry. That's why I'm part of our local foodshare initiative

Definitely. Wonder what he's really here for.

With the best will in the world, the USAF base at Mildenhall seems a very strange place for the plane to land in an emergency. I smell a rat.....

In 2024 China purchased half of US soya bean exports. In 2025 the orders from China are notable by their absence. Now let us all sit and ponder why that should be.... 🙄

There you go - off out shortly.

Hope you're coping okay. Love & hugs xxx

If we were covered in silky fur putting on weight would be no problem. This clearly is a major design fault with the human frame. We need fur, think of the multitude of sins that would cover! 😊

Norbert embracing his inner minotaur.... 🙄😀
Crete, beach scene, minotaur with Norbert's face superimposed.

Belated Happy Birthday, Kevin. Been a bit busy with Stuff & completely missed the event. Another year older.... Mind you, you're a young'un. Enjoy life whilst you can xxx

Sadly, so it seems. I never rated Starmer but I'm astonished how awful he is & how totally out of touch they all are. They really have no idea how people live. Probably don't care either.

I wasn't aware that they are communicating. They're totally out of touch & a bitter disappointment. And I write this as one who was an active Labour Party member for over 50 years. Not any more though.

Yes, good point. First wave of attacks were on OAPs' winter fuel allowances & then sick & disabled people. Even the tories didn't dare try that.

I didn't realise Labour's manifesto pledges included removing OAPs' winter fuel allowances & declaring war on the sick & disabled. Labour was very quick off the mark to attack those two sections of the community.

🚨 BIG NEWS from EveryDoctor! 🚨

We’ve been digging into PFIs + what we found is shocking: 💷 69 NHS trusts are locked into paying £21.1bn to private companies over the next 20 years.

That’s money that should fund doctors, nurses + patient care, not profits.

Graphic by EveryDoctor highlighting NHS debt from private finance initiatives. The text reads “£21.1 billion in PFI payments – a debt that can’t be ignored.” Below, a hospital illustration is wrapped in chains secured with a padlock featuring a pound symbol, surrounded by company logos for BIIF, Innisfree, Sun Life Financial, and Semperian, symbolising financial control over healthcare.

Reform terrify me too & it also terrifies me how the media are able to promote Reform & give them more credence than they deserve, an attitude which is totally at odds with democracy. Labour claimed to share egalitarian priorities prior to election; no excuse to ignore than now.

Private healthcare doesn't want sick people - it wants people who don't get sick. I knew a guy, chair of his local tory party, who paid in for years then got sick. One round of treatment in a private hospital & they discharged him to the NHS. That's private health 'care' for you. All about profit.

I must say I thought it a bit harsh referring to our Norbert as common. He's home counties, can you be common & live there? How far is he from Essex? 🤣
