Oh man! It’s a deceptive cover in retrospect especially with a lot of medieval/knight imagery in recent times. It’s such a classic. My favorite jazz album for sure

That’s an excellent point. I was hoping to learn more about that. It felt like the tension was building more snd more towards this but it came to a plateau. Definitely well made overall and something to revisit later.

Wish I got to see em. Pretty tough for me to make it to shows with my schedule. But yeah I felt the death metal presence on that album could have been more implemented. Although I see why people love it the way it is
