Question; did ANYONE ever get this content in the Switch version of Plants vs. Zombies: Battle for Neighborville? I've never seen footage or codes being sold anywhere. I'd sure love one and would pay a bit for it. It was a pre-order bonus only but yeah, nothing about it otherwise.
And does this new "small screens" focus only mean mobile devices, or can it possibly mean Switch 2 as well? Ideally RedLynx would continue from where they left off with their stunning Star Wars Outlaws Switch 2 port, and be working on more ports for Switch 2. I hope that's the case. Thanks.
@sophiemjourno.bsky.social If you don't mind me asking regarding your RedLynx post; would you know what this means regarding Switch 2 development there? They were behind the stunning Switch 2 port of Star Wars Outlaws, does this change impact the team behind that port at all?
At least Nintendo fans get to play Virtual-On for the first time in history in Kiwami 2 next month. Can't fathom how it took this long for a Nintendo system to get any Virtual-On, but here we are. Same with OG Virtua Fighter 2, as only the Genesis port landed on a Nintendo system prior.
Obviously also lifting any play limits (you have to pay in-game money to use credits like real machines I think). My concern is that Sega/RGG see them as too valuable as a selling point for each Yakuza game. Why sell a dozen of these for like $30 when you can pay $40 for 2/3 of them in 1 Yakuza?
Yeah that was my big ask when the Yakuza games started coming to Switch 2. it's slim pickings there for now, but across all RGG releases there's a LOT of amazing 3D arcade stuff just begging to be packaged together on all platforms, Switch 2 included.

TAKExOFF still exists; CC retained certain personnel (maybe everyone except the one Zerodiv guy, I forget)

idk why CC sold them but they practically gave em away...
Might've began prior to the sale so it makes sense. Anything after may not, depend on timing. Hell nothing's stopping the two from still working with each other. Just because Zerodiv's at Edia now, doesn't prohibit them from future work with CC I assume.
Separately and maybe you know this; would you know if Mebius bought Starfish SD ages ago, and have ANY clue about Starfish's weird Joyful Table/Joyfulstar period?
Hell I guess the main team just did legacy releases and nothing original, like the Class of Heroes remasters and the Psikyo ports? Also the Psikyo IP went with them to Edia I assume, right, hence the delisting? Thanks for the info! :D
Oooooh interesting. So good to know TAKExOFF still exists as an entity at CC. Hell I'd honestly wager (no offence to the core Zerodiv team) that said team kinda did a lot of the heavy lifting this past gen.
Also I'm assuming the Psikyo IP went with Zerodiv as they had them under their name pre-CC, thus explaining the delisting so far?
Wait, both Zerodiv and CC had a collab called TAKE X OFF which gave us the Cave and G.rev ports like Akai Katana, Deathsmiles, Under Defeat, etc. What happens with that? Will they still work together even with Zerodiv being at Edia now? Why sell them?
Also would like to find anything good from Nintendo's E3 2006 conference here also. My guess is the Aug or Sept 2006 DVD? I have a decent collection of stuff from it already uploaded, but there could always be more! Maybe we'll finally get HQ Project H.A.M.M.E.R. gameplay...
I'm still after my ever lasting search for a direct-feed version of the Monster Hunter 3 debut trailer from Oct 2007. No clue if Famitsu ever included it or anything from Nintendo's 2007 Fall Conference, which might be in the Dec 2006 or Jan 2007 DVD maybe.
SO, I've just discovered that Famitsu Wave DVDs are a thing. DOZENS of them were released up til 2011. One I'm hoping to obtain is the Dec 2006 one that apparently has a section about the Wii Preview event from Sept 2006. That could be a lovely get depending on its contents.
But at least know that you shouldn't be hearing it in my vids as long as the feature can stay disabled, but I don't know if it's still able to be enabled by the viewer's side. I can see merit in a accessibility manner, but for those who hate it, it's "ugh" and intrusive.
Got an email notifying me that auto-dubbing will soon be added to my YouTube account (I've seen it already has for others). I saw it allowed me to turn that shit off so I did it without hesitation. I refuse to use generative AI in anything I do. If folks want to use it that's on them.
BEHOOOLD, the ultimate meat pizza! SEVEN toppings, pepperoni, ham, sausage, extra beef crumble, and extra bacon strip pieces, AND with extra cheese! All in a large for only $14 CDN at Dominos!

I already had a slice before taking the photo. It was delicious. XD
Remember; always Xbox the unXboxted. Whatever that means. :P
Can someone do me a tiny favor; if you have Wreck it Ralph on 3DS lying around, could you grab the Pipeworks Imaginengine logo from in the game itself, preferably the actual texture file please? If you can't, then a .png screenshot will do. It looks like this. Thanks!

Yakuza Kiwami 3 & Dark Ties also coming to Switch 2
