I can’t focus on anything BUT the fascism. Nothing feels right or normal.
May I suggest experimenting with “LOLsob” or some such variation?
That’s all it would take.

Just a handful of people willing to uphold their oath to the Constitution.
So instead they’ll be forever known as fascist enablers & collaborators.

That’s one helluva legacy.

It's ever incredible to me that all it would take is for a handful of people in Congress to stop pretending this is all fine and yet, nope. Survivalist nihilism is their north star.
I hope there’s a multi-swing option.
This was really helpful - thanks!
I wish members of Congress would appreciate this essential truth.

Their failure to act within our constitutional framework is creating a very, very dangerous situation.
Congress has an ever dwindling window to reassert authority & stop this madness.
Let’s assume people accept the ballroom build won’t cost taxpayers (lol!). What’ll happen at the new gold 1000 person ballroom?

Will struggling taxpayers be good with funding endless official, lavish presidential dinners for oligarchs? While they’re stretching grocery budgets??
Curious, has anyone checked on pitchfork sales lately?
Did they forget to offset it with all the monies on the tariff shelf?

Because I thought the tariffs (that we’re definitely all paying) were supposed to make America flush with cash beyond our wildest dreams, no?
We have the rational solution of impeachment, conviction & removal. What we lack is a majority in Congress willing to defend the constitution.

Instead, they seem to want to create a powder keg.
Jackhammer. Day 1.
Smith’s comments at the end really highlight the crux of everything we see with this regime: they fail to understand & appreciate that *public service is a privilege.*

Rather, they treat it as a conduit for corruption & abuse of power.
I mean, he’s not royalty. An otherwise empty handed American president *should* have enough competence & can-do spirit to operate an umbrella on their own.
It doesn’t even need to be the 25th A (which requires Vance & a majority of Cabinet officials to initiate).

Congress can stop this *at any time* with a regular old impeachment & conviction for any of the crimes on the very long list.
History is full of devastating famines.

But the “just start a garden” people apparently have it all figured out.

Congress could stop this at any time.
Does a single person here think he’s going to stop his “renovations” with the East Wing? Anyone?
It’s members of Congress who can stop his lawlessness. At any time, they could impeach & convict him.

We wouldn’t be in this mess if McConnell & other gop senators had convicted him on impeachment last time around.

(And, yes, I know they still won’t honor their oaths to the Constitution now.)
