Very funny rebuke..

I used to say that and no one younger agreed.

I’m chasing the “youth market”..

Children in the 80s 😆

The Hoff’s doppelgänger role - and one note portrayal - now the stuff of legend and a frequent internet meme.

The “rescue” is original to this episode and absent on the original mini album.

An iconic shot of Thunderbird 4 passing through Traitors’ Gate is worthy of the classic series.

The size of Traitors’ Gate we shall have to put down to dramatic license - something the classic series well known for!!

A direct link to TV Century 21.

Lady Penelope pays a visit to her favourite store, Wickfens, owned by the designer Elaine Wickfen.

Both are referenced and seen on the pages of “TV21” and “Lady Penelope” but not in the original tv series itself.

I’m only looking at the recipes as part of a “bad recipes of the 70s” event a friend planning..

Dear reader .. we don’t plan this stuff.. it just happens 🤷🏼‍♀️

I’m now imagining the Production Assistants and Catering Managers having to wade in to break up the play fights and get lunch done.

Else afternoon filming will be late.
gleanniucha.bsky.social
Yes!

When Rog tries to copy that, doesn’t quite come off..
gleanniucha.bsky.social
Sadly not, that would have been great.

“If anyone needs me I’ll be in the next field..”

Hope Hannah understands why posted early.

Given the episode concerned is online and accessible to all.

Only fair as wide an audience as possible has the opportunity to see “this” 🤦‍♀️

Mate. I’m totally buying Rog as Ivanhoe.

That’s Roger as The Saint as Ivanhoe.

That’s Roger as Bond as Ivanhoe.

That’s not. That’s something he saw Richard Greene do..
gleanniucha.bsky.social
Robin Hood was nearing the end of production when Ivanhoe filming.

A pity that the two series were shot at different locations.

In my head, I like the idea of them filming in neighbouring fields.

Maybe having fights, in full costume, during lunch breaks..

.. With the exception of Robert Brown, who looks quite ridiculous at all times, and Roger himself - whose make up clearly later inspired Garthe in Knight Rider..
