and last, but in no way at least, there are plenty of people buying the “new“ versions. Whether they are existing readers or new readers, I don’t know. I’m very grateful to them. I’m also fully aware that not everybody will buy anything until book 17. That’s the readers' choice.

except that DAW and I parted ways at the start of the year, and all of those original books are now no longer available/out of print. So it’s not really bright to publish book 17 if people cannot get books one through 16.
