I used Twitter for book stuff. It was a place to chat with people with the same interests. It was great.

It became X. A place where my feed was filled with racists spouting hate all over the place.

Searching through the hate to get at one decent post was like wading through a sewer. No thank you.

Porcelain fungus (Oudemansiella mucida), a glistening (on account of the mucous), translucent, white beauty that has a very appropriate name. Encountered growing all over the place during yesterday's ramble, and it was a new one for us. Absolutely stunning.
