I just watched the documentary "Dear Uncle Adolf" (2010) on @kanopy.com and it's hard to put into words how it's effecting me. The parallels between the letters to Hitler and so many of the social media posts to you know who are terrifying. (If you don't have Kanopy, you should and it's free.)

I just completed my online poll worker training for the November 4th Statewide Special Election. I know that most Californians will vote by mail, but it's important that we have sites across each city and county for people to drop off their ballots. #prop50 is the sole measure on the ballot. #vote

My favorite thing about your posts are all of the snarky comments that you inspire from the rest of us. If you're writing these yourself, that's just mortifying for you because by now you have to realize that you're not resonating with ANYONE. If a staffer is writing them, they should be replaced.

The store where I work is being pressured by our DM into having a sidewalk sale this weekend even though temps will be 100+. Why anyone would think that people will shop outside in the heat rather than go into cool store is beyond me. Sure, we'd have game outside but cornhole isn't THAT appealing...

While you're home you could head over to the 12 CA Districts with MAGA reps and hold some town halls. Maybe introduce the constituents to the local Democratic front runner for the seat. Maybe suggest that ALL Dem Reps to do the same until the midterms and esp hit those 4 special elections this year.

Yes, people are taking her seriously. I was in the living room and briefly listened as two boomer white men discussed what she said about Hillary Clinton and President Obama very seriously. Did they read what was released? No. Did they do any due diligence? No. It was on the 'news' so it was true.

Unfortunately, I have relatives who will believe her. I've heard them spouting Tulsi Gabbard's accusations towards Hillary Clinton and President Obama as if they were factual statements - taking what she said at face value. There are far too many people who do the same. It's terrifying.
