It's all good and just as much on me. I know some of NJPW's fans weren't happy with Takeshita even winning the G1. So I came into this with the bad assumption of this being presented as a "how would you like it" kind of question, sorry for that.

There's a fallacy in your question though since Takeshita is dual contracted between NJPW, and AEW. So they did belt up a NJPW talent who is also an AEW talent. (And DDT iirc)

The closest real comparison would be if AEW put the belt on Hechicero, and I would be fine with it if the story made sense.

Fucking Congratulations to Mike Santan! He won against Trick Williams in a fantastic main event! He got to hand his daughter the World Title. I'm so glad Mike Santana bet on himself. That is one of the most emotional endings to a PPV I've ever seen.

Really surprised by this Jetspeed Babes v. FTR/Megan Bayne match on Collision, most intergender matches are a little clunky because of the whole "only women fight women, only men fight men" shit and this one was just a straight up proper intergender brawl and it ruled
