Been a minute since I drew anything, so I rolled a MitN character and ended up with a middle aged professional illustrator who got turned into a Flying Squirrel due car accident-based goop exposure. He's just trying to make rent.

Someone on tumblr suggested someone should make an umamusume horse girl based on Hayseed from the "Everyone hates my big stupid horse in Red Dead Online" article... So here's Hayseed, Front Runner, Special Skill: Road Block

Took a spin through the Vintage Computer Festival Midwest today!

It was a genuinely cool place to see a lot of well-loved old technology as well as getting a chance to talk to the people who are really passionate about it.
So I didn't just dream up that entire show...
(I have never come across anyone else who has even heard of it, let alone 4 other people who have actually watched it)
I meant to include a thought that this may entirely be on Toei, but I think the point stands either way: If they really want people to legally watch and support their shows, they have to stop partnering with SHOUT and renegotiate their contracts with Asahi. No one is benefiting from this arrangement
I have to wonder what Toei expects to accomplish when they run things so sloppily with SHOUT and then gives up every time. Then everyone who wanted to watch and support these shows has to pirate everything anyways. It's not even that pirating is easier, just that there's often zero legal options.
So what's the point of partnering with SHOUT when they only hinder the promotion of the newest show and only provide streams of far older super sentai shows otherwise?

The biggest promotion KR has seen in the west recently was VS Wolves talking about Gavv and they ignored that!
Toei just gave up on promoting Gotchard and Gavv in the west. May as well have not existed. Then they decided they were really going to try again and posted a bunch of promos
Toei was supposed to stake out an official Toku presence on youtube in 2019. They posted a couple episodes of a lot of old series and then neglected to provide english subs for most of them. Then the channel was dormant for the last 2 years before they posted some Korean shorts and then Zeztz promos
Instead of just posting the episode after its simulcast premiere, SHOUT is running an endless looping livestream that only enabled rewinding a couple days later. It's still ONLY in livestream mode on youtube. Not even available on their website, which also insists on running endless livestreams.
Every few years, Toei takes another stab at trying to seriously promote Kamen Rider to the west, and every time they fuck it up because the only company they work with is SHOUT, a barely functional third-rate streaming service.
We did not deserve a movie as good as Mystery Men, but we were gifted it anyways 😔
Holy crap, Cap! 😭
There's so much about this that is so good!

Today we're taking a look at the taishogoto! The portable keyboard koto!
I fully intend to keep making more and working out how to make them better, so who knows? Maybe I'll have them for sale at some point, or I'll just have more on hand to give out for next GenCon!
I saw three books with blatantly bad, not even passable AI art all over them, but all for the same "Katana-Ra" system. Went and looked it up after getting back, and they insist that there is a human drawing some the art, but that they use AI as "filler" which was 99% of the art in them.
I think there is a point I could reach where all of the design and engineering problems could be solved, but then I'd be left with all of the marketing and business problems to figure out and that's a headache I don't want to consider at the moment.
Maybe a kickstarter? It's a more reasonable way to fund such a thing (if I found someone who could make clear/tough/water tight dice blanks and possibly also caps without a 6 figure pricetag) and also sell directly to potential customers at the same time, but I also have a distinct lack of following
