Minecraft has a lot of interesting mobs, to include ones that were only introduced in its other games. One mob I really wish was in vanilla is the moobloom. For some reason, it just brings me so much joy.

What's your favorite mob from any of the different Minecraft games?
More of an important character than a mob that exists gameplay wise, but The Seer. I'm an absolute sucker for the "extremely powerful wizard holding up the entire empire" trope.

couldn’t be more representative of the current media landscape that the video trump posted of him dumping his own shit on people “appeared to be” ai generated. we have to hear out both sides of this, it could be real, who’s to say
President Trump posted what appeared to be an A.I.-generated video on social media showing him wearing a crown and flying a jet labeled “King Trump” that dumps brown liquid on protesters. He shared the video on Saturday, the same day that protesters participated in mass “No Kings” demonstrations.

A game is cursed to fail if all that is talked about it upon release is how it is going to kill another gaming franchise

It doesn't take much to realize that if a game holds attention by relation to another game then it depends on the other game success, and at that point it won't surpass it ever
Frozen oceans existed before 1.13, but only generated if you selected them in the custom world type. Same for lush and dripstone caves in 1.17, but for single biome world type.

If they need to be accessed that way, I'd still say they were unused, but I'm not sure if that's what you're objecting to.
There was actually a good chance that the sparse jungle, previously known as jungle edge, would not have made it to 1.18. That is, if it were completely forgotten, but thankfully it wasn't.
Minor correction: The sparse jungle actually did exist before 1.18, but usually in tiny 8 block strips along jungles, and very rarely wider around swamps. It doesn't count. But nonetheless, I still really wanted it to be treated like it's own biome for so long prior to 1.18.
"But the zombie horse wasn't a real addition, it exists in previous versions."

Minecraft biomes that would vanish if the same logic was applied:
Yet even more obscure facts about the Minecraft spear: Zombie type mobs use the charge attack when equipped with the spear, while other mob types use the jab attack. The charge attack from mobs also considers the velocity of the opponent, just like with player charge attacks.

I saw someone say the spear is OP because you can rocket boost to deal a ton of damage

And I am just looking at the mace breaking at lightning speeds totems and killing 90% of mobs from 3 blocks of height
People don't ususlly notice because most mobs have relatively low health pools, but the mace is actually leagues better in terms of damage output.
Though to be fair, the spear combined with elytra is quite powerful in PvE. That is, until you encounter one of these guys in the wild.
If someone wanted to get an instakill cheap shot through your full netherite god set, they could just use the mace. It actually does enough damage to function that way, unlike the spear's charge attack.
Nooo the spear is bound to have players fly in and kill every other player they merely glance at without challenge.

End crystals? Shield? An armored chestplate slot can prevent you from being one shot by this attack at boosting speed anyway, but you can one shot them? #Minecraft
They might as well be curses at that point, but let's be real: Getting these enchantments instead of the thing you like is basically a curse anyway, other than the fact that you can use a grindstone on them.
What should Minecraft do with useless/pointless enchantments?

Yes, I'm up for hearing the "bad" ideas too. Some of them might even be worth considering.
Perhaps with this, the other protection enchantments could be renamed so them mildly decreasing every damage type makes sense. Like "dampened" for fire protection, "cladded" for blast protection, and "cushioned" for projectile protection.
of enchantments they never use anyway because it'd supposedly break their survival worlds, rather than my main idea. The most interesting way to buff these would be to give them more unique properties like deflecting projectiles, but that's a slightly different topic.
I think being able to gain near invincibility to projectiles or blasts while still gaining a bit of regular protection would still have its niches, and be a considerable choice in PvP for example. Plus, this idea is to "satisfy" the two people out there that are extremely attached to the function...
Here's how the point system works currently:

(Note that what I'm proposing for other protection types is for levels 2 and 4 to provide 1 normal protection point and 1 of their respective points instead of 2 of their respective points)
minecraft.wiki/w/Armor#Ench...
A less "intrusive" idea to buff other protection types is for each even level to provide a normal protection point in place of their designated one. Also, replace the hard 80% damage reduction cap with a soft cap. Taking 1% damage from crystals should come in handy for certain playstyles. #Minecraft

I suspect the MAGA government decided to launch all these Bluesky accounts tonight to try to bait people in advance of No Kings.

These people have incurable 4chan brain and this is how they operate.

Block them. Do not engage. Do not give them what they want.
I haven't been talking about the spear charge attack very often, and that's because it's basically perfect IMO, and surprisingly the attack with less obscure information about it.

How have you been taking advantage of this ability? #Minecraft #MountsOfMayhem
