One update I appreciate: A feature that tells people when they can get their abortion covered by Medicaid in their state, so hopefully fewer people will pay for pills they could get free.

Options for pills have exploded since the site's last update in 2020. Visitors to redesigned state pages now see provider data presented in rows and columns for easier comparison, and a Medicaid coverage filter shows services that provide abortion pills for free.

Visitors will now see provider data presented in rows and columns, rather than separate boxes, so they can easily compare services.

[rows for four pill providers and data shown include service name, price, delivery time, and pregnancy gestation and ages served]

Users have more filtering options, too: They can sort by interaction type (i.e., whether or not a video visit is required), weeks of pregnancy, ages served, and languages spoken. An existing filter allows visitors to select providers that offer pills for future use, known as “advance provision.”

Today, your agencies have all the information they need to bring an end to previous Democrat-administrations’ abortion drug regulations while a comprehensive review is conducted. As a starting point,
we recommend the following:
1. Suspend the approval of any new generic versions of mifepristone pending the outcome of the REMS safety review;
2. Commit to ensuring that all generic versions of mifepristone are included in the ongoing reevaluation of prior REMS approvals;
3. Reinstate the in-person dispensing requirement for mifepristone and all its generic versions;
4. Suspend the distribution of mifepristone and all generic versions as an “imminent hazard” under Section 505(e) of the Federal Food, Drug, and Cosmetic Act (FDCA); and
5. Withdraw FDA guidance permitting pharmacy distribution of mifepristone and all its generic versions.

Seven managers for six union members but there’s “no budget for raises.” Huh!

Currently there are seven members of management and six unit members at RNG. But management salaries make up 67% of the salary budget (excluding one employee who is neither a member of management nor the unit). Meanwhile, RNG unit members’ salaries account for only 33%.
