It’s time to be done with the phrase “mom and pop landlords”. Conjuring up a fictionalized image of grams and gramps scraping by on their meager rental income obscures the truth - these are real estate speculators from all walks of life who made high-risk investments on purpose.

Using the Six Thinking Hats is my favourite way of helping student to see a situation from different perspectives. theeddesigner.com/2024/09/05/d... #EduSky #AcademicSky #EdChat
Unlocking professional skills with the Six Thinking Hats method. This technique encourages students to approach problems from multiple perspectives, leads to more comprehensive and creative solutions, and stimulates thought from diverse perspectives.
Hang on to that Pocock fella A.C.T
The fact Wong thinks she can just snark her way out of this is a sign of how normalised the relationships between politicians and lobbyists have become.

Like, of course the PM shouldn't be president of a registered lobby group that sells corporate members access to politicians? No shit??
Independent Senator David Pocock and Labor's Penny Wong clashed in Senate estimates yesterday over whether the Parliamentary Sports Club could be considered a lobby group, as reported in Crikey last week. The club is registered as such, and lists Responsible Wagering Australia as one of its clients.

Do I know anyone who reads Persian well enough to help resolve a machine translation of a health research article from Persian to English and would be willing to have a look? The researchers have no funding but we could do some kind of skills barter perhaps.
I'm sure this is mostly from the uni lawyers but leaders need to do what is right.
Did you miss "but otherwise yes"?

Few things are 100% bad, is all. I wouldn't remove a useful a11y tool or force people to advertise their disability by making them obvious. This is a behaviour issue.
