Did some dawn patrol golf this morning.

Played like absolute garbage but the sunrise was nice.

Yeah I couldn't remember when it happened and that's because it was after we moved to North Carolina. Graduated in '89 in Raleigh, came back up for college and then WHAM all the numbers were different in November

I'm most worried about huge quarter panels that stretch from A pillar all the way to the rear bumper and back under the rocker panel type stuff. Complex cuts, huge sheets, "two person" jobs to get them positioned, etc

I could probably start on doors and hoods, save those for last at a buddy's house

This shit? Just delayed my Rx by eight hours. Because the preview just said "we've received your prescription. Lis: processing" AND NOTHING ELSE

Like HOLY FUCK this is absolutely intentionally stupid so they don't have to fill yet another adhd script.

They don't ask with my other medications 🤷

A text from Walgreens asking if I want an Rx filled bow or "put it on file for later" A THING NO ONE FUCKING DOES when they have a doctor send a prescription directly to a pharmacy

I mean, I ALSO had a tiny black book I could keep in my pocket with everyone's numbers in them, so I literally COULDN'T forget them, and there's also the phone book everyone had for local numbers, but yes, you absolutely dialed the important numbers from memory.

I can remember our FIRST number.

Did people really memorize phone numbers before cell phones, or is that just a movie thing?

I was watching some old shows from the 90s and noticed people would just dial numbers from memory - like they'd call their friends or family without looking anything up.
Made me wonder if that was actually normal back then? Did people genuinely have all their important numbers memorized, or did most folks keep a little address book or written list nearby?
