The good news doesn't stop. Maybe consider playing a game about someone telling you to get back in your box and you saying "hell the fuck no."
I Am Your Beast is OUT NOW on @xbox.com and @playstation.com 🐺

Complete with DLC "Support Group" and "Cold Sweat" and all free updates.

I'm busy and I'm tired, but honestly in general it's pretty well balanced thankfully, especially for the games industry. I've maintained a consistent 20 hours per week on Baby Trading and I'm getting time off next week to have a bit of a break. I just get restless easily and like to fill my time 😅
There is also another (not-Strange Scaffold) contract gig project I'm spending about half of my work hours on per week at the moment and isn't announced but there's a very real chance that by the end of 2026 I'll have tripled my lifetime shipped projects in the span of like 2-3 years.
Outside of Strange Scaffold I also spent like a month or so in January working on an IP-based pitch that didn't pan out and also worked on a 10 Second Ninja X phone port that shipped months ago and I forgot to talk about. 2025 has been very busy actually.
That's not even including the Ninja Turtles game I had no involvement with and ANOTHER Creepy Redneck Dinosaur Mansion game that release in partnership with the studio.
Like, I *work for Strange Scaffold* and even I can't really understand how all of that has happened.
I know people make a point of talking about how much stuff Strange Scaffold releases but I genuinely thought I Am Your Beast came out two years ago rather than one because since then I've been involved with two level packs for that, shipped CRDM3 and spent 4-5 months of 2025 doing Baby Trading.
This. I'd have been such an easy mark for something that is all style, little substance if I just didn't have to ignore Jared Leto the whole time
Like, I'm not trying to be a dick about it but this looks more like Marathon, both in terms of being spiritually connected to the original, and in terms of looking like the trailers for the upcoming game, than the actual new Marathon game does.
This texturing work is so gorgeous, it genuinely doesn't even look like gameplay, in a good way.
Using the powerwashing gun is actually the least interesting part of Ambrosia Sky's Next Fest demo. www.rogue.site/editorials/a...
A screenshot from Ambrosia Sky, showing an abandoned residential area in a sci-fi colony with books and binders scattered everywhere. The room is lit with a circular window through which we can see pink skys and floating rock.
Saltburn was a huge movie why is it so hard to find a clip of Jacob Elordi saying "I love spag bol"
Fuck. Do I need to actually watch that King Arthur movie?
This is besides the point but that pistol model + view position + animation? Sublime. Just walking around a little looks good in this clip.
this is what success looks like for me

Look collecting nature's labubu is a luxury hobby

These people should be making a reboot of The Getaway
I cannot as she's been harvesting them to make soap
"and- wait, do you know the Stanley Kubrick film The Clockwork Orange?"
dating someone who's pretty offline does give you a new perspective on how deranged almost every single thing you see on a screen every single day is
I showed this to my conker collecting girlfriend, who's right on the millenial/gen-Z border, and her response was "I don't know what that word means"
"Nature's Labubu"
Picture of two cupped hands holding a partially opened conker, with the Guardian headline below it: "Nature's Labubu: why are gen z 'unboxing' conkers?"

I will say it's much more obviously CGI in motion (people especially). It is for sure true renders, just likely adapted from footage taken for accuracy
Like, these are ALL CGI! That's totally what it looks like here!!
We need to stop pretending that Nigel Farage is someone who genuinely loves Great Britain. You know who DOES love Great Britain? Whoever renders the videos for driving theory tests. I have never seen the beautiful mundanity of the UK so lovingly represented.
