he did claim to be a class clown
or that it's too much like a frat house. I've worked at tons of companies that have a "bro culture" and even company Happy Hour and you cannot in fact win a lawsuit based on that
Trying to imagine a workplace lawsuit based on the idea that it's too much like a Montessori school:
- my boss doesn't supervise me enough
- my emotions are too respected
- I shouldn't be expected to problem-solve or collaborate
- need more formal reviews
Democrats can't beat these guys and their leaders refuse to step down or change their 30-year old strategy
RFK Jr: "Today the average teenager in this country has 50% of the sperm count, 50% of the testosterone of a 65 year old man. Our girls are hitting puberty 6 years early ... our parents aren't having children."
GIRLS JUST WANNA HAVE CUNT
i would frankly settle for democratic leadership that wasn't often saying "yes our base is Hamas supporters, Putin agents, and illegal immigrants, and we hate them too"
i think it was in reply to this, or somewhere in the related thread

internet leftists aren’t the ones who spent the election and the time since the election gloating that their enemies will get sent to the camps, that was liberals
Democrats including biden harris and pelosi: yes this is correct
Leavitt: "The Democrat Party's main constituency is made up of Hamas terrorists, illegal aliens, and violent criminals."
it's extremely likely they're using info stolen by DOGE
can someone who isn't blocked by them find the post where theophite called me the dumbest poster on bluesky so i can make it my profile banner

i've said before one of the weird things about History is everyone acknowledges that genocidal racists who whole heartedly supported genocidal policy existed in significant numbers in the US in the 40s, the 60s, the 80s; but uhh they don't today, they all went back to their home planet
they're eugenicists. they oppose vaccination because they think a plague will wipe out the unfit and leave a society of ubermenschen
I vaguely understood the climate change stuff, as the profit motive from fossil fuel industries was just so strong. The antivax stuff, I didn’t see coming, and it kind of broke me. We’re just throwing away an unalloyed good because people are bored
NOW WHO ELSE SAYS MANGA AREN'T SERIOUS LITERATURE?
when I was in high school in 1999 a classmate got a car for his 18th birthday and someone said "that car costs more than my house" and the first kid rolled his eyes and said "no it doesn't, you can't get a house for under $200,000"
he would absolutely think EFI is a technology that makes your car run bad because his brain would envision it as the same type of deal that makes toilets not flush his turds
lowtax saying "the internet is where people who like to stick parrots up their butt find a small number of other people who like to stick parrots up their butt and they convince each other that's normal. then they yell at me until i create a parrot butt subforum"
remembering when it was a year long scandal when the IRS told explicitly conservative nonprofits they couldn't register as nonpolitical nonprofits, and then it turned out they did that to liberal nonprofits too, Issa was just lying about it
WSJ: “.. the effort has drawn up a list of potential targets that includes major Democratic donors, some of the people said ..”

oh my god??

every analysis of every conservative "study" begins with "this has a bunch of serious methodological errors" and ends with "oh the underlying data used is just horseshit"
6. Data scientist Jacob Eliason was the first to spot it: Kaufmann had run his analysis using the raw survey responses rather than applying the weighting provided by FIRE. Without weighting, the data dramatically misrepresented the population—and created the illusion of a drop where none existed.
Jacob Eliason - Methodological issues in Kaufmann’s analysis of FIRE gender identity data
Ignore survey weights at your peril

with that definition in mind, when people bemoan that don’t have a strong sane/reasonable/good conservative party/viewpoint in politics, honest question, how would this “good conservative” significantly differ from biden, harris, schumer, and pelosi? kinda gives the game away on Will’s view of 1-3

like what does it take for a politician to be “reasonable”? i’d say a good litmus test is:
1) not Qanon/conspiracy adjacent
2) not an anti-gay/anti-trans/anti-black/anti-woman activist
3) not an abolish the EPA/preemptively nuke iran/dumbass crank. (1/2)

caught my vampire neighbor creeping through my front door. he claims my saying “for sure dude, we should definitely hang out sometime” the other night counts as an invitation, but I disagree. we’re on hold with the etiquette hotline
relocate it and convert it into public housing
we got a Trent Lott or George Allen every year or so!
Trump is primarily a symptom not primarily a cause, post 11,000
"you couldn't have the past GOP today" is just "you couldn't make blazing saddles today." all it means is that the passage of time exists, it says nothing about the GOP or politics
and in fact i think people underestimate how long this has been the case. thinking of the 2012 election when there was a notable crack on Fox on air when reality and their walled off alternate reality refused to meet
