All a sanctuary city does is refuse to deploy its own resources to help the federal government enforce federal immigration policy.

It doesn't prevent the federal govt from enacting its policy within the city using federal resources.

Even the reddest cities and states require law enforcement to have standardized ID badges.

TBQH in 2025, law enforcement officers should have QR codes as well.

I honestly think this is just the way most Congressional Republicans want it.

Their job is much easier when they don't make any decisions, don't take any risks, and don't rock the boat.
