Also, every cursed item is just a magic item you haven’t figured out how to use yet. I love ‘em.

Sometimes entire villages just light on fire. Natural causes.

It’s real hard fight the gravity of a collapsing fortress. But you will quickly find the durable and magically protected part you should head to immediately. Sure, not stealthy at all but that’s never been my forte.

DM didn’t even start to make me alignment rationalize things.

Me: Can I see that drawing of the fortress?
DM: Sure.
Me: [looks for a bit] And nothing anti-magic warded?
DM: Not that you can tell.
Me: Cool. [rolls] That’s 38 for Knowledge: Siegecraft. I cast Stone to Mud here, here and here.
DM: Why?
Me: Buttresses are SO important to keep structures up.
DM: oh

They are masters of non-lethal methods because everyone else is a potential client.

To discourage ranged drug seeking behavior for effect, it ain’t pleasant non-lethal methods. The problem being cyberlivers that defeat your Sit The Fuck Down & Puke Forever drugs.

Also it will trigger your players to effectively absorb an advanced first aid course for their and mass casualty drill planning if they want to metagame shit. I call that a win despite being a bit cheaty.

I stand by my old assertion that Trauma Team adventures for Cyberpunk 2020 are the best. A very different spin on Friday Night Firefight.

fantasy story idea: Noble Evacuation Squad, nobles dungeon-diving buy insurance, and when they're outta mana, they can summon them. The NES then secures the area in the most heavy-handed way, draws a magic circle, and saves the principal, and only them. Everyone else, expendable

I just want good hummus. I ask so little from the world. Visiting Israel & Jordan broke me eating the best hummus I’ve ever had three meals a day. No hummus has been good since.

Breakfast hummus….mmmmm

There's a mix of weird wear on the second one. If I didn't know better, I'd guess the second one had been mounted in a jewelry bezel based on central wear and preserved edges. Probably works out to VG again.
funranium.bsky.social
A lot of detail is worn away, so probably closer to the VG side.

Phil Broughton: Lasers, Coffee, Radiation, Coins, and History. "I just like a lot of stuff!"
funranium.bsky.social
The grading techniques for each coin are slightly different but there's some commonalities between them about details and damage where I'd guess a Very Good (VG) to Fine (F) rating.

While it’s a good round up of the current state of knowledge, there still aren’t answers to all the big questions.

We know what.
We might know where.
We don’t know how much.
We don’t exactly when.

As I've said before, FDA recalls are broad for even the suspicion of contamination. This is what they're supposed to do and it's a thankless task. The goal isn't to terrify people, but you need those things off the shelf.

I'm glad Paris put this round up together for folks. Been waiting for it.

after the 10th radioactive shrimp recall in 7 weeks, i decided to do some digging

little did i know it would lead me to an underreported industrial accident that may have released an airborne plume of radioactive debris over swaths of indonesia

It's a treasure though. I wouldn't let go of that if I didn't absolutely have to.
funranium.bsky.social
It's a rarity but not in the best condition. Probably ~$1k, minus fees.
funranium.bsky.social
Don't have an idea of the value off the top of my head, but I do think it's very nifty.

Lemme sleuth a bit.

I have a harrumph because I went to go search my archives and I *SWEAR* I have explained the non-proliferation definition of Intrinsically Safe before. I seem to have alluded to it but neve explained. So here goes, this one's for you @dankaszeta.bsky.social.
funranium.bsky.social
Or at least I gave the questions the manufacturer/importer/retailer never began to ask.
funranium.bsky.social
This would be that Intrinsically Safe thing again. The unpleasant definition.

It is Excellence In Management Day, AKA Lavely Day! Much like you should life your life such that they don't celebrate when you die and piss on your grave, similarly don't live such that your retirement is still celebrated 20 years later by people that never even met you.

I’m sure @blarkytopia.bsky.social will figure something for maximum entertainment and drama.

I didn't stick around but I gather that when the parents got back to the hotel, there were some police handy to have a word with them about "appropriate toys for children" and "leaving your children unattended while you go to a concert".
