Imagine an economy based on metrics like wellbeing instead of GDP.

An economy that supports all life.
Are you the kind of person who:

Loves games and gaming

Thinks the current state of the economy sucks

Would change the world if it was fun and only took weekly baby steps

Then this is for you!

We ARE the economy. Let’s play a better economic game.

Q: When malignant media pedal economic growth... who benefits?

A: Fewer, richer people, who buy up all the assets and destroy our planet.

Economist @kateraworth.bsky.social says #DoughnutEconomics prioritise life, not profits!

Happy Halloween Month to you all!

I'm Moti and I'm a pumpkin carver, so I'll be posting lots of photos of my carved pumpkins this month.

Below is my favourite ever carve: 'Low Light' on The Isle of May.

America is deffo worse. I can feel the horrific vibes of it in the air as soon as I get off the plane.

we must refuse to debate the worth of other people.

We must agree that everyone has value at a human level, and that it’s not tied to their health, their job or their bank account.

When we start allowing ourselves to debate someone’s worth, we’ve already lost.

You are worthy, just as you are.
Well, it's definitely not the only way, but #taxwealthnotwork is paving the way for community wealth to take center stage in the near future.
The only way to protect your future is by taxing the billionaires more.

At the @makethempay.bsky.social rally today.
This was the obvious outcome to the climate change movement. People want something to be *for* not against

This is where community wealth and wellbeing economies are the new hope for humanity

You're solving the climate issues as a byproduct of creating and transitioning to regenerative economics.
David Wallace-Wells is the best climate journalist working today, arguably the best journalist period, and this is a fantastic summary of where things stand on climate change:
It Isn’t Just the U.S. The Whole World Has Soured on Climate Politics.

It's because people don't want something to be against. They want something to be *for*

My work is in culture science and we have found the way around this. Cooperation towards community wealth and wellbeing economies (regenerative economics) is what works.

Welcome to Rip-Off Britain.

A country remade by privatisation.

Our latest project — Who Owns Britain? — explores how a radical experiment transformed our society and shapes your life.

"If the solution to the king was democracy in the government then the solution to the billionaire is democracy in the economy." - PasTime History
Yes, I do.

For the simple fact that I have had videos go viral mainstream and people say things like "hope for humanity" and "my soul thirsts for this def. of economy" when I mention basing the economy on wellbeing over GDP.

You don't get that with degrowth 😅

The wellbeing economy is built on ideas from the degrowth movement but there's actually quite a bit of difference between the two movements.

The Museum of Broken Dreams opens today in Parliament.

An exhibition of community-led projects that could have transformed Britain. The Museum reveals the depth of wasted potential in our country & makes the case for more #CommunityPower.

I’ve proven it with memetics!

For people to really hear your perspective they have to be interested in the first place with a condensed version

Our latest report calls for community centres to be protected and invested in as spaces that tie people together.

“The effects that ripple from a community centre are deep and far-reaching. For too long their value has been overlooked, their contribution pegged as a ‘nice to have’.”
Where People Meet: How We Celebrate, Sustain and Reimagine Community Centres - New Local
This report sets out the vital role that community centres play in local areas and makes the case for investing in their future.
