I would imagine teams who cross more concede more defcons, purely from defenders getting in the way with headers & blocks.

No idea if this is particularly useful, but I had a quick look at how many times defenders have got DEFCONS against particular opposition. Obviously not everyone has played each other yet but there’s quite a bit of disparity.

There's also a chance we play 5-man defence at times, perhaps with Murphy at RWB, but that would be very occasional and more likely due to midfield injuries.

As FPL assets whilst Hall/Tino out:

🥇 Burn
🥈 Botman
🥉 Trippier

Then probably Thiaw, then Schar.

Pope is clear of them all though.

Schar was undisputed first choice, but Thiaw has been simply outstanding, and his pace covers Trippier's declining pace really well. Hard to see him being dropped unless he has a bad game. Could see him playing RB to rest Trippier as a one-off.

Trippier, Thiaw, Botman, Burn 1st choice for me.

Burn will be left-back until either Hall is fit or Botman gets injured. Small chance Trippier plays there for a game but I can't see it. Botman will play LCB whilst Hall out, but may be rested occasionally due to injury history. Trippier first choice RB. Schar & Thiaw toughest to call.
