Ooop: forgot to mention the why.

Was at a conference years ago and presenter mention the human brain only processes at 30bps - about speed of early dial-up modem.

Writing a picture frees up processing power that would otherwise be used keeping that image in our heads.🤔

I teach a problem-solving methodology that (almost) always involves a rough sketch of the situation.

I think it really does help (need to check out if there’s any PER on this).

My first school used PBIS. Yikes!😳

I made it three years, but I think PBIS is mostly hype, and what Modesto schools are seeing probably isn’t too surprising for any school using PBIS.

The mindless pursuit of a high gpa has caused a disconnect to holding students accountable.

I’ve had students tell me - absolutely seriously - “I don’t care if I learn anything or not as long as I get an A.”🫤

He was executed for several heresies - to include pantheism.
