Fall Forever : The Witches You Burned

On a bright orange day, the skeletal forms of three witches stand ominously facing the viewer. The witches are engulfed in flames, their pointed hats, gowns, and skulls appear as dark silhouettes. Their bodies are ravaged, one is missing an arm, the center one’s ribcage is exposed, and the last has a large gash through her hip. They stand on a manicured lawn sprinkled with fall leaves in an otherwise normal suburban street, hinted at by the simple geometric shapes of homes behind them.

Some of best acting (not the best, I've seen Goodwill Hunting plenty of times) that Robin Williams ever did was when he's monologuing about how terrifying growing up in the game was.

I think my actual gateway was the movie Jumanji. I've gotten push back on this before but I will always argue that it is very much a family-friendly horror movie and is darker than I think people remember or give it credit for. And I was obsessed with it as a little kid.

It’s so funny how every time Jared Leto does his method acting in a film, the director and crew have to go out of their way to be like “woah it was so intense, he was so in character, it added so much depth” and then you watch the film and he’s giving the most lazy, no-thought performance possible

"I do address him as Ares when we're filming and everybody goes, we get a little bit up. He's the general walking onto set, which is fine," Ares director Joachim Ronning recently told Screenrant. "And it's not
uncommon for actors to do it like that.
And it works for him. And I think you can feel it in any movie he makes. He's completely into the character."
