Now I have a full set. 🥰 I had so much fun making these!
Chili, the mom from Bluey squinting. All four family members from Bluey: Mum, Dad, Bingo, and Bluey!
OMG. I just noticed Trevor is dressed like Sidney's father! Which makes sense. 👀
Watching Scre4m. It's so funny watching the sequels back to back. So many of the victims make me think of Sidney saying that these girls run up the stairs instead of the front door. 😅 A lot of the time they can't because the door is locked. Even she did that, but still!

I'm really enjoying this so far.
Currently reading. It's a cozy murder mystery set in the Austenverse. As if all of her characters from her novels know each other.

And they all have children of course.

This is the first in a series with the children of the Darcys and the Tilneys are the main characters.
A copy of the book The Murder of Mr. Wickham. My Collin Firth Mr. Darcy bookmark is poking out at the top.

@gravelinfluencer.bsky.social I have made “How to Report ICE” zines for many localities in the US. The SALUTE protocol is included and the LUCE hotline as well for MA. Zines are available in English and Spanish for Massachusetts.

Just watched a video (of someone from outside the book community) that started off with the premise “read diverse fiction to combat authoritarianism” and then went on to give 1984 as an example 🤦🏻‍♀️

Anyway, please follow BIPOC creators who read and recommend actual diverse fiction every single day
I love seeing a franchise like Star Trek evolve. It should. 🤷

We need to bring back pie-ing bigots on live TV
On this day in queer history: Oct 14, 1977

During a live TV appearance in Iowa, anti-gay activist Anita Bryant was hit with a pie in protest of her “Save Our Children” campaign. A sweet moment of queer resistance.

So much of horror is already inherently queer.

After finally watching Frankenhooker for the first time, I can say that so much of Frank Henenlotter's movies are super queer. Even without being textually queer.
Drew Struzan was such a master when it came to movie posters.

Freddy's Revenge is a cautionary tale about letting twinks have friends
The way things happen in this movie... A single killer doesn't work. 😅 It's the only movie in the series to do this.
I forgot just how many 'jokes' they make about actresses sleeping with directors/producers. 👀
The use of the fax machine is so 90s. 😅

This movie is 25 years old now!
Watching Scream 3. It's not as good as the first two, but it's still fun. And I love meta sense of humor.
Especially the references to the page numbers on the script. 😅 I'm a big dork.

Barf.

Though it was popular with people when I worked at the Target SB. But they were probably sick in the actual sense. 😅 Some would get it with steamed lemonade.
I'm picturing the actors from whichever adaptation I feel like and aging them as needed in my head. 😅

I'm only on he prologue, but I'm curious to see how it plays out. There are three other books in the series too.

I agree with this on a lot of levels. 🥰
