I generally am not fond of bugs but I LOVE those giant orb weaver spiders that make huge webs and I finally got one on the side of my house right outside my work office window. I was so stoked to watch it weave the rest of spooky season and my landlord just pulled it down while cleaning our gutters.

I always get melancholy as it gets closer to Halloween because I hate when spooky season ends, I almost feel like pre-spooky season is better than actual spooky season because what do you mean they are putting out Christmas in stores and it's October 21st?

Of course I got super anxious because I hadn't actually submitted the PTO request for work yet (had told my boss ballpark in February but no specific dates). Woke up super early and couldn't get back to sleep stressing about telling her and then when I finally clocked in and asked it was fine.

Putting in a cake order for my birthday cake this year which I want to be a MCR Revenge era x vampire cake and I can't think of a great quote to put on top because their main songs about vampires are on different albums and "Lay Still Like The Dead" seems a bit morbid for a birthday.

We did so much laundry yesterday, all my clothes, all my husband's clothes, all our bath towels, bedding, and my halloween blankets. I also put away a lot of stuff that was just lingering around from our trip the weekend before and reorganized my wardrobe. Feels nice to do a proper Sunday reset.

My family cancelled on me for our theme park day today because it was supposed to be pouring rain all day and of course the forecast changed and I am bummed about it but at least my husband and I had a chance to catch up on housework and chores after 3 super busy weekends in a row.

A local bar did a Halloween pop up and it's very cute but it's also a sports bar so there are a bajillion screens playing sports ball games and none of the other people in here even appreciate the Halloween of it all.

Got my new phone in but trying to activate it has been a fucking nightmare. Somehow deactivated my old phone without activating the new one and have been on hold for customer service for 20 minutes so far. I just want to fucking scream.

Love when my nightmares switch it up, I thought I was having a "you're back in school and forgot to do a big assignment and it's presentation day" nightmare but it suddenly turned into "a tornado is heading straight for this school" nightmare so I had to hide under my desk for 3 tornados on a row.
